In business, relationships are extremely important. You should maintain a good relationship with everyone you meet, because you never know who could help you in the future.
One way to maintain a good relationship is to write thank you emails. For everyone who has helped you during this program (e.g. parents, teacher), write a thank you email to express your gratitude.
